I. Course Title: JOYS OF ENTREPRENEURSHIP This is a seminar that aims to enable would be entrepreneurs to be aware of the various entrepreneurial development initiatives of the Association as well as provide them with assistance and information on how to start up and operate a business. In cooperation with various government agencies, starters will be informed of the different government incentives and procedures on how to apply for business permits. II. Course Title: PRODUCT TRENDS AND MARKET UPDATE BRIEFING This is a seminar where participants can get updates on the industry and the latest design and product trends in the market. III. Course Title: VISUAL MERCHANDISING This workshop seminar allows participants to learn the basic skills of visual merchandising. Activities for booth designing and actual booth set-up are part of this two-day workshop. This workshop is offered to all participants of the Negros Trade Fair. IV. Course Title: GLOBAL TRENDS SEMINAR This is a seminar offered to ANP members, entrepreneurs, visual merchandising practitioners, in-house designers, and students in Fashion, Designing and Marketing. It tackles the global trends with focus on the American Market, analyzes and interprets these trends, and offers ideas on updating designs and developing products based on industry forecasts. V. Course Title: BASICS OF EXPORTING Company owners and Marketing Representatives are invited to join this seminar. Topics in this seminar include "Why Export," "How to negotiate with buyers," "Product Pricing and Costing," "Packing, labeling markings, shipping, and containerization," and "How to participate in Trade Fairs." This seminar aims to prepare participants to handle export inquiries during the annual trade fair and to enable members of the ANP to be equipped with the skills in dealing with the global market as a new marketing platform. VI. Course Title: CUSTOMER SERVICE WORKSHOP This workshop is designed to enhance the selling skills of all Sales Staff, Store Managers & Supervisors and Marketing Personnel. Here participants can learn the techniques and art of persuasion, how to encourage and develop patronage and loyalty among customers, and how to develop self-confidence and learn to handle demanding customers. VII. Course Title: COMMUNICATIONS: KEY TO OPENING DOORS TO OPPORTUNITIES Offered to all members of the Association and Entrepreneurs, Store Owners and Marketing and Sales Personnel, this seminar orients participants on the basic skills of effective communication, enables them to create that positive visual image they want to project, and to make their encounters with customers as positive, productive and profitable as possible. VIII. Course Title: CREATIVITY ENHANCEMENT AND BASIC WIREWORK TECHNIQUES This seminar focuses on three main objectives. First is to understand the process of creativity and its dynamic importance for innovation. Second is to achieve new skills, get a grip on your mind and develop strategies and enhance your creativity flow. And third is to learn wirework techniques and wire pattern making like donut wrap, jetson effect, wrapped wired balls, and fancy head pins. This seminar is open to all entrepreneurs, people involved in product development and manufacturing of products for Fashion, Gifts and Housewares, and Furniture and Furnishings. IX. Course Title: INTRODUCTION TO POLYESTER RESINS AND FIBERGLASS BY POLYMER This workshop, conduced by an industry player, POLYMER is open to all interested members of the Association and to all entrepreneurs, production supervisors, and product development staff. Included in the seminar is an Introductory Course on polyester resin and fiberglass. The seminar also tackles information on other materials and processes such as fiberglass, stained glass, flat and corrugated sheets, synthetic granite, lamination, encapsulation, and figurine casting.
